2022 in Retrospect

Dear ASP friends and family,

After a year in which Africa Soft Power has experienced great growth, we wanted to reach out to our entire network and simply say: Thank-you!

From partners and sponsors, to delegates and speakers, and everyone else who has been with ASP on its journey over the past three years: this organisation is the sum of every individual within it, and it has been a joy to see our dialogue begin to resonate so impactfully this past year, not only on the continent but around the world.

Nowhere was this more apparent than in our final live event of the year: ‘Breaking Bold: Africa’s leadership in transformative solutions to intersecting global challenges’. The high levels of interest in the event are reflective of the widespread desire across both public and private sectors for international relations at large to do better and mean more in our post-Covid world.

It is in part better representation for our continent on the world stage that Africa Soft Power promotes, as well as the creation of new growth and new opportunities within it. As the year has progressed, wherever we have connected with people, it became clear that so many around this world share that goal.

ASP now turns its attention to our flagship summit in May, which again in 2023 will take place in the beautiful city of Kigali. We hope to see you all there, and in the meantime wish you continued holiday season joy, a very prosperous 2023, and look forward to what we can all achieve together in the new year!

Warm regards The ASP Team

We send our best wishes to families celebrating Kwanzaa this holiday season. As you gather to light the kinara in celebration of African-American heritage and culture, we hope you have a happy Kwanzaa.
