About the Event
Did you know… The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) was originally established in 1945, following the end of WW2? Every September since then, 193 member states have arrived in New York City to discuss, debate, and work towards solutions on global issues.
This September, in collaboration with African Women on Board (AWB), we’ll be hosting an event alongside the General Assembly.
Themed, ‘Africa & the Global Economy: Africa’s leadership in transformative solutions to intersecting global challenges’, we will explore three key topics: climate change, women’s leadership, and as always, building stronger connections with the diaspora community.
The event is scheduled to take place on Thursday 22nd September, from 4:30 pm – 7:30 pm, at 601 Lexington Avenue (The Citigroup Center), New York.
LIMITED SPACES! To confirm your attendance, RSVP at: https://bit.ly/ASPAWBUNGA2022
