Our UNGA events have been some of our most successful, with last year’s theme being ‘Africa and the Global Economy: Africa’s Leadership in Transformative Solutions to Intersecting Global Challenges’ and in 2019, ‘Fast-tracking Black Women into the Leadership Roles of the Future’. Speakers and delegates include visionary business leaders, innovators, academics, policymakers and other thought leaders… all united by our mission of mainstreaming vital – and too often still unseen – African and female voices into the wider global conversation.

Climate Change Photo Essay Prize @ The Africa Center

Visit our Climate Change Photo Essay Prize exhibition opening on 15th September in NYC at The Africa Center! The show is focused on how photography can be a powerful tool for climate literacy and amplifies African perspectives in the conversation around climate change.

The Prize is the pilot project of our broader climate change program focused on climate education – an initiative aimed at educating and empowering 100 million young Africans in the battle against climate change. The exhibitions in Nairobi@Africa Climate Week, New York@UNGA, London@Frieze Art Fair, Lagos@Art week and Dubai@COP28 showcase the winning entries of young African and Diaspora photographers who have skillfully depicted the profound impact of climate change on their communities.

Visit the Prize’s page for more information.
