Akin Sawyerr is a Co-founder and COO of Turnqey, a Crypto Asset Data company, and the Managing Director of Feleman, an early stage Crypto Asset investment Firm.
Akin is an active member of a number of NFT enabled communities including Moonbirds, Deadfellaz, and Americana. He has also invested in dozens of projects across the crypto space.
Akin was previously Chief Innovation Officer at Onramp, and led Strategy and Partnerships at Barnbridge, a tokenized risk protocol that builds open source financial products. Prior to Barnbridge he led Strategy and Governance at Decred, a community directed protocol that pioneered on-chain governance.
He led strategic and organization transformation projects at Booz Allen Hamilton and Accenture in Washington, D.C., and held strategy and business analysis positions with Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae.
Akin started his career at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in the Technology and General Services Group where he conducted economic research and data analysis in support of IMF country strategies across the world.
He holds a BA in Economics with a minor in Political Science from Union College, New York, and a MBA from The Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
