Mary Edoro is a Fashion Journalist and Digital Media Strategist with over 8 years of experience. She is currently the Head of Content for Africa’s leading tech-driven fashion media platform, BellaNaija Style.
Mary is passionate about championing initiatives that leverage the power of digital media and technology to promote innovation and positive change. One of such projects is the BellaNaija Style Women’s Month – an annual digital festival that celebrates the phenomenal impact of African women in the fashion and beauty industry through select virtual activities and a closing physical event.
Through strategic partnerships, Mary has led successful campaigns and projects for BellaNaija Style with top international companies including MAC, Darling Nigeria, TECNO, and SUNLIGHT among others, making her a key figure in both editorial and digital media strategy. She was listed on Y! Naija’s New Establishment List, BellaNaija Style’s 29 African Creatives List and more recently also quoted in a New York Times article that tackled “Cultural Appropriation/Appreciation”.
Mary has volunteered with organizations and platforms including The U.S.Consulate Lagos, Africa Teens Summit, RedX Africa, Junior Achievement Nigeria, and Tech Summit Ogun to train and mentor teenagers and young adults in Africa.
