Myma Belo-Osagie
Myma is Partner Emeritus (of Counsel) in the law firm, Udo Udoma & Belo-Osagie (UUBO) which she co-founded over 35 years ago.
She has advised a wide variety of local and international clients on matters involving corporate restructuring, acquisitions, foreign investment matters, telecommunications regulation, oil and gas investment and financing matters and infrastructure projects. Myma has participated in the drafting of various pieces of legislation including – the Nigerian Communications Act 2003, and the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority Act 2011.
Myma is also an International Honorary Member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and serves as a board member and trustee of a number of Nigerian and international companies — not-for-profit and non-governmental organisations.
She holds an LL.M and SJD from Harvard Law School and an LL.B from the University of Ghana and is a registered member of the New York, Ghana, and Nigeria Bars. She is also a member of the American Bar Association.
