Rahama Wright

Rahama Wright is the founder and CEO of Yeleen Enterprises, which empowers women in the beauty industry throughout her supply chain in the United States and Africa. Shea Yeleen, her skincare brand, provides a living wage for hundreds of women in Ghana, and is available at Macy’s, MGM Resorts, and select Whole Foods Markets. She is launching the Yeleen Beauty Makerspace in late 2023, bringing 200 manufacturing jobs to an underserved area of Washington, DC; it will be the first co-manufacturing facility designed to support women and founders of color in the beauty industry in the United States.

Working across beauty, business development, and policy, Wright has served on the President’s Advisory Council on Doing Business in Africa since 2014. She previously served in the Peace Corps and has been a guest speaker at the United Nations, State Department State, World Bank, Global Entrepreneurship Summit, and the Sustainable Brands Conference.
