Albert Kinuma
Albert Kinuma is currently the African Partnerships Lead at Segovia Technology, a US based Fintech which is owned by Crown Agents Bank Ltd. Segovia Technology facilitates last mile payments into mobile money operators and bank accounts in emerging markets.
Previously, Albert worked at Visa Inc. as a Senior Director in the Emerging Markets Digital division where he was leading the mVISA implementation in Rwanda. mVISA was the first interoperable branchless banking mobile solution in the world. Before joining Visa, Albert worked at MTN where he held various managerial positions with the last one being General Manager for MTN Business (MTN Enterprise Unit).
Albert launched the first mobile money service in Rwanda with MTN in 2010 which was recognized by the GSMA as one of the fastest growing networks in the world for two years in a row. He also sits on the board of AB Bank, BSC (Broadband System Corporation) and RICTA (Rwanda Internet Community and Technology Alliance).
M. Kinuma studied Management at ESC Marseille Provence (now Kedge Business School) with an emphasis on international business.
