Amani is the Global Head of Risk & Control in the Impact Advisory & Finance (IAF) division at Credit Suisse, based in London. The IAF division leads the Impact Investing strategy within Credit Suisse (Impact Investing refers to investments which seek to generate a financial return whilst creating a measurable positive social and environmental impact). Prior to joining Credit Suisse in July 2015, Amani worked in Risk Management at Barclays Investment Bank and the CEO Office at Wells Fargo.

Amani is the founder & CEO of Amatte. Amatte is a new premium coffee brand that celebrates Africa’s rich culture and history of storytelling. The brand embodies the connection and direct link to Africa, supporting gender equity across our supply chain and telling the rich African story through our premium products. Amatte partners directly with small-lot farms supporting the interest of female farmers across the continent to ethically source the finest Arabica coffee beans. Amatte is the culmination of a life’s passion that aims to empower African female farmers.

Amani sits on the Amatte Board and Amatte Fund Amani is also the co-chair of the EMEA Credit Suisse Black, Asian, and Multi Ethnic (BAME) Advisory Committee. She co-founded the BAME Network in March 2018 with the aim of creating an empowering environment for professional development for those of BAME background.
