Christopher O.H. Williams is a global executive with 25+ years’ experience driving transformational change at some of the world’s most well-known brands and companies.
He is the Principal of Custament Partners LLC.
Prior to founding Custament, Christopher was the 1st President of African Leadership University, with responsibility to lead the undergraduate campuses in Mauritius and Rwanda and the graduate School of Business in Rwanda (1,500 students).
His other experiences include senior executive roles at adidas Group – Senior Vice President of Sales Strategy and Business Development for adidas Europe, Senior Vice President of Global Sales Strategy, Global Head of Cities (Paris, London, Shanghai, Tokyo, New York City, Los Angeles), and Global Co-Head of Brand Leadership, adidas’ new operating model.
He has also worked at VF Corporation, Nike Inc., Gap Inc, Goldman Sachs & Co., and Lehman Brothers Inc. where his roles included Vice President of Strategy VF Jeanswear, Global Head of Strategy Nike Brand Global Operations, Head of Strategy Nike USA Footwear, and Country Manager/Commercial Director for Nike Malaysia.
He is a former Executive-in-Residence at ALU and European School of Management and Technology (ESMT Berlin) and pursues a passion for teaching and developing people. He is an independent board member of Enda Athletic, a Kenya-inspired running footwear brand and sits on the advisory boards of Mizizi African Consumer Holdings, a US-based house of African brands, Pacific University College of Business and Emory & Henry School of Business. He regularly lectures and gives keynote speeches to audiences in the United States, Asia, Europe, and Africa.
Christopher earned his MBA from Harvard Business School in Boston, Massachusetts and a BA in Economics from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, where he graduated with Phi Beta Kappa, Magna Cum Laude and Omicron Delta Epsilon Economics honors.
Christopher enjoys travelling, painting, and writing. He, his wife and two young children live in Denver, Colorado.
