Feven and Helena Yohannes are Eritrean twin sisters, entrepreneurs and Co-Founders of 2•4•1 Cosmetics, an effortless beauty brand that instills confidence, kindness and integrity. Born in a refugee camp in Sudan, they immigrated to the US at the age of 4 with their family to Rochester, NY after being granted political asylum. Although they were inseparable as children, they graduated from two different colleges. Feven attended Hobart & William Smith Colleges with a degree in Media & Communications and a minor in Art History. Helena went on to receive her education at Skidmore College with a double major in Government and Sociology.
Their line 2•4•1 Cosmetics quickly made its own lane within the beauty industry, as they were adamant about supporting women by providing them the ability to enhance their natural beauty and never conceal it. And ultimately, landing them on Oprah’s Favorite Thing’s 2020 List and they are currently mentored by makeup icon and entrepreneur Bobbi Brown Icon. 2•4•1 Cosmetics is a private company and entirely self-owned by Feven and Helena Yohannes.
Feven and Helena currently live in Los Angeles where their company is headquartered enjoying the sunshine, and focusing on empowering women one eyeliner at a time.
